Gary Payton II GS PG
Warriors' Gary Payton: Won't return against Sacramento
3h agoPayton has been ruled out for the remainder of Tuesday's game versus the Kings due to a right calf injury, Kendra Andrews of ESPN.com reports.
Payton tallied seven points, five rebounds, two steals, one block and one assist in 17 minutes before exiting Tuesday's contest early. With Chris Paul (leg) also out, the Warriors' bench backcourt will be left short-handed. Payton's status for Thursday's matchup with the Clippers is uncertain.
-
Josh Hart NY SG
Knicks' Josh Hart: Improved performance Tuesday
3h agoHart ended with 17 points (7-10 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal across 30 minutes during Tuesday's 115-91 victory over Charlotte.
Hart had one of his better games of the season Tuesday, looking more like the player we expected to see coming into the season. He has scored double-digits only five times, averaging 7.7 points per game to go with 6.1 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 0.9 steals. While this is a taste of what he can do, managers should not overreact to one performance. Should he be able to string a few good games together, he could be worth grabbing as an out-of-position specialist.
-
Isaiah Hartenstein NY C
Knicks' Isaiah Hartenstein: Limited in victory Tuesday
3h agoHartenstein amassed four points (2-3 FG), six rebounds and two assists over 14 minutes during Tuesday's 115-91 victory over Charlotte.
Hartensteing failed to hit 15 minutes for the fourth time in the past five games. Across 17 games to begin the season, he is averaging just 5.7 points and 4.9 rebounds in 17.0 minutes per game. Although he does have a somewhat fantasy-friendly game, he would need an injury to Mitchell Robinson to even sniff 12-team value.
-
Quentin Grimes NY SG
Knicks' Quentin Grimes: Struggles yet again Tuesday
3h agoGrimes logged six points (2-4 FG, 2-3 3Pt), one rebound and one assist over 19 minutes during Tuesday's 115-91 victory over the Hornets.
Grimes managed just six points Tuesday, continuing his dreadful start to the season. Despite starting in all 15 games, he is averaging just 6.7 points in 23.7 minutes per game. Currently outside the top 250, managers can safely look the other way when it comes to analyzing his current fantasy value.
-
Nick Smith Jr. CHA PG
Hornets' Nick Smith: Scores career-high eight points
3h agoSmith supplied eight points (3-4 FG, 2-2 3Pt) in five minutes during Tuesday's 115-91 loss to the Knicks.
Smith played in just his seventh game of the season Tuesday, scoring a career-high eight points in five minutes. The Hornets recently lost LaMelo Ball to what is being described as a serious ankle sprain. While Smith is still buried on the depth chart, there is a chance the Hornets may opt to see what they have in Smith, especially if their current trajectory holds. He is clearly not someone who needs to be prioritized, but the situation warrants at least some attention.
-
Ish Smith CHA PG
Hornets' Ish Smith: Invisible off bench
4h agoSmith contributed four points (2-3 FG), one rebound and one assist in 14 minutes during Tuesday's 115-91 loss to the Knicks.
Smith played just 14 minutes in the loss, a little underwhelming given the recent injury to LaMelo Ball (ankle). Ball is likely to miss multiple weeks, meaning there are going to be more minutes available to both Smith and Bryce McGowens. While this was a poor performance, Smith might be able to have limited value as an assists streamer, at least for the next few weeks.
-
Isaiah Hartenstein NY C
-
Mark Williams CHA C
Hornets' Mark Williams: Double-doubles in loss
4h agoWilliams logged 12 points (5-9 FG, 2-2 FT), 12 rebounds and one steal over 25 minutes during Tuesday's 115-91 loss to New York.
Williams produced a serviceable line in the loss, turning in his seventh double-double of the season. Despite only playing 26.7 minutes per game, it's been a relatively strong start to his sophomore campaign. Averaging 13.4 points, 10.2 rebounds and 1.9 combined steals and blocks, Williams has been a top-50 player thus far. His value is heavily reliant on rebounds and efficiency, making him a must-roster player, albeit geared towards specific builds.
-
Al Horford BOS C
Celtics' Al Horford: Dominates in blowout win
4h agoHorford recorded 16 points (6-8 FG, 4-6 3Pt), nine rebounds, six assists, three blocks and two steals over 28 minutes during Tuesday's 124-97 victory over Chicago.
Horford retained his spot in the starting lineup, filling in admirably for the injured Kristaps Porzingis (calf). The veteran turned back the clock, proving once again just how important he is to the Celtics. While Porzingis isn't slated to miss significant time, Horford is a clear must-roster player until we get word that his counterpart is returning.
-
Richaun Holmes DAL C
Mavericks' Richaun Holmes: Returns to bench
8h agoHolmes isn't in the starting five for Tuesday's game versus the Rockets.
Dereck Lively will replace Holmes in the starting lineup Tuesday. Holmes is averaging 3.5 points and 3.8 rebounds in 8.8 minutes across his previous six appearances coming off the bench this season.
-
Thomas Bryant MIA C
Heat's Thomas Bryant: Back to bench
8h agoBryant will return to the bench for Tuesday's game against the Bucks, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Bam Adebayo is back with the starting group after sitting out Saturday's game against the Nets with a hip injury. Bryant wasn't able to make the most of his spot start Saturday, scoring two points with one rebound and one steal in 13 minutes.
-
Dereck Lively II DAL C
Mavericks' Dereck Lively: Active Tuesday
9h agoLively (back) will play Tuesday against Dallas.
Lively will return from a one-game absence due to a back contusion. He'll be a welcome addition to a Dallas frontcourt still lacking Maxi Kleber (toe). Dwight Powell and Richaun Holmes have un-inspiringly split part-time duties, so Lively should reprise his alpha center role.
-
Patrick Williams CHI PF
Bulls' Patrick Williams: Another strong performance
4h agoWilliams ended with 14 points (6-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal across 28 minutes during Tuesday's 124-97 loss to the Celtics.
Williams continues to round into some sort of form after a terrible start to the season. He has scored double-digits in four straight games, playing at least 28 minutes in three of the four. The Bulls are a dumpster fire right now, meaning fantasy value is hard to project. While it is unlikely Williams maintains this production, he could be worth a flier, just to see if the upward trend continues.
-
Royce O'Neale BKN PF
Nets' Royce O'Neale: Moves back to bench
8h agoO'Neale isn't in the starting five for Tuesday's game versus the Raptors.
The return of Nic Claxton from his ankle injury will send Royce O'Neale back to the bench. O'Neale is averaging 7.4 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 28.3 minutes across his previous 10 appearances coming off the bench this season.
-
Kevin Love MIA PF
Heat's Kevin Love: Starting Tuesday
9h agoLove is in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against Milwaukee.
Love will make his fourth start of the season and his first since Oct. 30. Jaime Jaquez will head to the bench, likely in an effort for Miami to match the size of Milwaukee's frontcourt.
-
Xavier Tillman MEM PF
Grizzlies' Xavier Tillman: Remains out Wednesday
9h agoTillman (knee) won't play in Wednesday's game versus the Jazz.
Tillman will miss his sixth straight game Wednesday while dealing with a left knee injury. Bismack Biyombo should continue to start in his absence. While the Grizzlies are treating Tillman as week-to-week, his next chance to suit up is Friday's matchup with Dallas.
-
Kelly Olynyk UTA PF
Jazz's Kelly Olynyk: Questionable against Memphis
9h agoOlynyk is questionable for Wednesday's game versus the Grizzlies due to a right shoulder strain, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
Olynyk is in danger of missing his first game this season due to a shoulder strain. Omer Yurtseven would likely receive extended minutes if Olynyk is ruled out.
-
Jarred Vanderbilt LAL PF
Lakers' Jarred Vanderbilt: Still sidelined
10h agoVanderbilt (heel) won't play in Wednesday's game versus the Pistons.
Vanderbilt will miss his 19th straight game to start the season Wednesday due to left heel soreness. His next chance to play is Thursday's matchup with Oklahoma City.
-
Torrey Craig CHI SF
Bulls' Torrey Craig: Non-factor in loss
4h agoCraig racked up three points (1-1 FG, 1-1 3Pt), one rebound, one block and one steal across 13 minutes during Tuesday's 124-97 loss to the Celtics.
Craig managed just three points in 13 minutes Tuesday, failing to provide anything close to fantasy value. After being promoted to the starting lineup earlier in the season, things have been trending in a downward direction. Even in starters' minutes, Craig has never been a reliable producer. At this point, there is no reason to consider him outside of very deep leagues.
-
Moses Moody GS SF
Warriors' Moses Moody: Returns to bench
6h agoMoody isn't in the starting five for Tuesday's game versus the Kings, Shayna Rubin of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
With Draymond Green returning from his five-game suspension, Moody will be heading back to the bench. Moody is averaging 7.1 points and 3.9 rebounds in 17.8 minutes across his previous 10 appearances coming off the bench this season.
-
Derrick Jones Jr. DAL SF
Mavericks' Derrick Jones: Heads to bench
7h agoJones isn't in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game versus the Rockets, Jackson Gatlin of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.
Josh Green will replace Jones in the starting lineup Tuesday. While Jones has started in all 16 of his appearances this season, he is averaging just 4.0 points and 3.3 rebounds on 25.0 percent shooting from the field in his last four games.
-
Brandon Miller CHA SF
Hornets' Brandon Miller: Starting Tuesday
8h agoMiller will start Tuesday's game against the Knicks.
LaMelo Ball is expected to miss extended time with an ankle injury, so Terry Rozier will slide over to point guard with Miller joining the starting five. Miller fared well in a larger role Sunday against the Magic, scoring 20 points with five rebounds, one assist and two three-pointers.
-
Jaime Jaquez Jr. MIA SF
Heat's Jaime Jaquez: Returns to bench
9h agoJaquez isn't in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game versus MIlwaukee, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Kevin Love will replace Jaquez in the starting lineup Tuesday. Jaquez is averaging 12.9 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.1 steals in 28.2 minutes across his previous 10 appearances coming off the bench this season.
-
Lauri Markkanen UTA SF
Jazz's Lauri Markkanen: Will miss upcoming back-to-back
9h agoMarkkanen (hamstring) will miss Utah's coming two-game road trip, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
Markkanen is amid a two-game absence due to left hamstring soreness, and he'll now miss two additional contests. The Jazz play a back-to-back set Wednesday and Thursday against Memphis and Minnesota, respectively, and Markkanen did not travel with the team. Simone Fontecchio will likely continue starting in his place, with Saturday versus Portland representing Markkanen's next opportunity to take the court.
-
Josh Hart NY SG

-
Svi Mykhailiuk BOS SG
Celtics' Svi Mykhailiuk: Rare appearance in win
4h agoMykhailiuk contributed no counting stats in two minutes during Tuesday's 124-97 victory over Chicago.
Mykhailiuk saw two minutes in garbage time, just the eighth time he has cracked the rotation all season. He could very well have seen even more playing time had this not been an In-Season Tournament game. Nonetheless, his role is unlikely to escalate anytime soon, making him a non-factor in fantasy leagues.
-
Anthony Edwards MIN SG
Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Exits game with injury
5h agoEdwards left Tuesday's game versus the Thunder with 2:40 remaining in the third quarter and is questionable to return due to a right hip contusion.
Edwards landed awkwardly on his side while attacking the basket. The star guard shot his free throws but ultimately headed to the locker room and hasn't returned. Shake Milton and Troy Brown are candidates to receive extended minutes if Edwards is unable to return to Tuesday's contest.
-
Zach LaVine CHI SG
Bulls' Zach LaVine: Out for remainder of game
6h agoLaVine won't return to Tuesday's game versus the Celtics due to a right foot injury, Chuck Swirsky of the Bulls Radio Network reports.
LaVine had a lackluster night before exiting with an injury, tallying two points, four assists, two rebounds and two steals in 25 minutes. Alex Caruso, Ayo Dosunmu and Jevon Carter are all candidates to receive increased minutes in his absence. LaVine's status for Thursday's matchup with Milwaukee is uncertain.
-
DeMar DeRozan CHI SG
Bulls' DeMar DeRozan: Questionable to return
6h agoDeRozan is questionable to return to Tuesday's game against Boston due to a sore ankle, K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago reports.
Zach LaVine's night is already over due to foot soreness, but now DeRozan might be done as well. The Bulls are getting blown out by the Celtics, so the lopsided score could factor into the decision.
-
Gary Payton II GS PG
Warriors' Gary Payton: Won't return against Sacramento
3h agoPayton has been ruled out for the remainder of Tuesday's game versus the Kings due to a right calf injury, Kendra Andrews of ESPN.com reports.
Payton tallied seven points, five rebounds, two steals, one block and one assist in 17 minutes before exiting Tuesday's contest early. With Chris Paul (leg) also out, the Warriors' bench backcourt will be left short-handed. Payton's status for Thursday's matchup with the Clippers is uncertain.
-
Nick Smith Jr.
-
Chris Paul GS PG
Warriors' Chris Paul: Officially ruled out
4h agoPaul (leg) won't return to Tuesday's game versus the Kings, Monte Poole of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Paul played just five minutes before exiting Tuesday's contest early with lower left leg soreness. The veteran point guard's status for Thursday's game versus the Clippers is uncertain.
-
Jrue Holiday BOS PG
Celtics' Jrue Holiday: Shines in return
4h agoHoliday contributed 14 points (5-8 FG, 4-5 3Pt), seven rebounds, nine assists and one steal in 33 minutes during Tuesday's 124-97 win over the Bulls.
Holiday had arguably his best all-around game of the season, returning from a two-game absence caused by a minor ankle injury. Granted, the opposition had a lot to do with this but what better way to ease yourself back in than against an inferior opponent? Anyone rostering Holiday will be hoping he can build off this performance, especially in terms of his assist numbers and efficiency.
-
Jevon Carter CHI PG
Bulls' Jevon Carter: Eight points in 16 minutes
4h agoCarter chipped in eight points (4-7 FG, 0-1 3Pt), one rebound, two assists and one block over 17 minutes during Tuesday's 124-97 loss to the Celtics.
Carter saw a few extra minutes in the loss, continuing the Bulls' terrible start to the season. To this point, they have won just five games, projected to be one of the worst teams come April. Carter has not been able to carve out a consistent role, currently sitting well outside the top 300 in standard formats.
